Sending Ecards Often times the sending card link is missed
due to our full screen ecards, you only need to scroll downward to see the email links. When you email an ecard, double check the
spelling of the email addresses, this is the most common issue with failed delivery, and always
check the box that says send a copy to yourself. After you send it check your email account for that copy, (if it is not in your inbox,
check your bulk email section). If for any reason that should fail please try the Alternate Sending link at the
bottom right side of the ecards. We do send the ecards, they have to be accepted on the receiving side, which is
occasionally an issue due to imperfect spam filters which all email providers use. See The False Positive Chart to the right >>
We also kindly suggest that you obtain a free Yahoo
or Gmail
email account. These accounts can be accessed from any computer that is connected to the internet, and it will
save you the hassle of changing your email address every time you get a new internet service provider.
Help
with Viewing Greetings & Hearing Music
Windows XP users with service pack 2 please go
here. If you have any problems viewing the java cards, first make sure your
browser is "JAVA" enabled, (from internet explorer go to the tools menu, then select
"internet options", go to the security tab and select the custom level button and adjust the settings).
Sometimes even the most recent systems lack the
necessary components to view java. Sun provides a fully supported, high-performance virtual machine as part of the
Java 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition
(JRE), available for DOWNLOAD. When you arrive at the site above, click on the J2SE 5.0 link, on the next
page scroll down to the J2SE 5.0 JDK and click the "Download JDK" link. After accepting the user
agreement, scroll down and choose the platform of your operating system. (Internet explorer users, make sure
you check the box that says to incorporate java into your internet explorer browser when it's installing).
If you have problems hearing music please download windows media player 10.0 If you still have problems with
music, uninstall the media player, restart your computer and reinstall it. If you can see the Java
but are not able to see the Flash pages, get the Flash
player. If you have a "Mac" please
update your QuickTime player. To assist you, to the right are some helpful links.
Note: we currently suggest using the Firefox browser which has built in spyware protection.
In the ever changing world of technology, I can not
stress enough, the importance of keeping your systems operating and browsing software as up to date as
possible. If you are having problems it is probably because your system is not being updated as it
need be. For any and all problems, (including
"freezing"), First install Flash, then
go to the Windows update
site. 1. Obtain all available updates 2.
Defragment your system.
